How will you make a difference?

The Storeperson is responsible for the efficient and safe discharge of his/her duties as detailed below and in accordance with relevant Company Procedures.

The primary objective is to organize the daily workflow of the warehouse and distribution operations in order to meet customer delivery requirements within time, cost and efficiency standards.

Where is the position located?

This position is located is Keysborough, Melbourne Victoria.

What will your typical day look like?

Organize the daily workflow and ensure the dispatch of goods is carried out in a timely and secure manner;
Participate in the continuous development and implementation of improvements in the Warehouse;
Accept deliveries, unpack, sort and record quantities of goods prior to Q.A. inspection;
Distribute goods to their designated locations after QA approval ensuring that goods are sufficiently protected against damage;
Assemble goods (kitting out) prior to manufacture or to satisfy orders for dispatch ensuring they are checked before dispatch for quantity, general quality type and packed appropriately. Complete all associated documentation;
Operate the forklift and Company vehicles as required (i.e. for the purpose of picking up or dispatching goods) and ensure they are kept in a safe, clean and properly maintained condition, and that only properly licensed drivers operate them; and
Undertake such other reasonable duties as may be assigned, from time-to-time, by management.

What do we want to know about you?

3-4 years experience in similar role
Holds a drivers licence; and
Experience in a busy manufacturing environment.
