Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator

Under general supervision, the Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for assisting with basic AP operations to help ensure accurate, timely, and discretionary processing of accounts payable functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Verify coding on invoices & proper approvals, review batches for accurate data entry, scheduling disbursements, & audit preliminary payment reports
- Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure proper management – research outstanding issues/discrepancies.

- Answer all vendor inquiries.
- Prepare accounts payable payments.
- Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files.
- Prepare analysis of accounts, as required.
- Assist in monthly closings.
- Assist in annual external audit of the company's accounts.
- Maintain timely filing of paid invoices.
- Special projects, as necessary.

You Bring:
- Previous accounts payable experience necessary. Experience entering and paying amounts in foreign currencies a plus.
- Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Computer Skills – Microsoft products (Excel, Word), Adobe, and ERP System Experience (JD Edwards a plus)
You will need to be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, including:
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Communicate effectively with customers through multiple forms of technology, including telephone and computer. Must be able to receive and convey information
- Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds
