Salary Range: $30.82 - $36.26 /hour
We are an integrated team that provides food and nutrition services to our patients and residents at all sites of St. Joseph's Health Care London. We accomplish this through the procurement, storage, preparation and distribution of safe, high quality food choices in a cost effective way. Our ultimate goal is to earn complete confidence by providing excellent customer service to ensure a pleasant dining experience and therefore maintain and improve nutritional health and quality of life. Our departments operate within varying shifts from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week.

It is understood that the hours of work reflect the current scheduling arrangements and are subject to change as determined by the Employer.
Essential Qualifications
- Completion of Secondary (High) School Diploma
- Graduate of a recognized office administration/secretarial diploma program
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent and relevant professional experience in a healthcare, professional, office or academic work environment
- Demonstrated computer skills at an intermediate level, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Superior communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as well as exemplary customer service skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
- Proven ability to multi-task, problem-solve, work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Highly motivated to serve a large team in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to accurately type a minimum of fifty (50) words per minute
- Some experience creating PowerPoint presentations
- Experience in organizing and coordinating meetings/events and follow-up when necessary
- Previous experience supporting individual(s) in a leadership position, including managing email, calendar, etc.
- Understanding of financial tracking/reconciliation of travel and other related financial submissions
- Some experience/understanding in some of the following areas: processing of purchase orders, data entry, understanding/tracking of budgets, taking of minutes at meetings, making travel arrangements, scheduling, monitoring and ordering of supplies
- Demonstrated experience with payroll systems, database management and report running
- Previous experience working in a unionized setting
- St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St. Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
- Provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (primary series, boosters and/or XBB) OR one dose of XBB vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start date.
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
