Job Summary


This position performs a variety of administrative functions necessary to support the relationship management of the lending portfolio. The individual will work with loan officers, loan processors and other departments, assuring consistent communications in a professional, timely manner. Position supports a team of Commercial and Real Estate Lenders, Underwriters, Credit Analysts and Loan Processors. This is intended as a general description, but duties may differ somewhat between lender assignments
Responsibilities:
  • Obtain requisite property insurance and follow for receipt of renewals annually.
  • Communicate with insurance agents and/or brokers to request for various types of insurance.
  • Order and track annual property Insurance on commercial and real estate loans.
  • Order and track insurance required for all construction loans.
  • Order and track flood insurance required
  • Build and maintain loan file folders in the nCino application platform according to Bank standards.
  • Follow up on insurance tickler file for each loan to ensure proper reporting.
  • Forward all insurance certificates to the Note Department.
  • Maintain monthly status reports, perform daily/weekly/monthly record retention maintenance.
  • Callback of various account and general ledger transactions made by Loan Processors in the Region.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the bank’s IBS, CASH Ticklers, nCino and other systems to obtain needed information to support lending personnel and other department inquiries.
  • From time to time, back-up construction disbursement staff.
  • Provide light administrative support to the SVP, Loan Administration Manager.
  • Performs related duties of a similar nature, as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)
  • Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks is a required skill.

  • Knowledge of Loan Insurance Requirements.
  • Minimum one year of recent experience working with bank related loans, with Banc of California or another financial institution or some other position that would naturally lead to this position
SALARY RANGE: $40,000.00 - 55,000.00; Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
