Description:
Wicehtowak Frontec Services is seeking a Baker's Helper to join our team in Jansen, SK. The Baker's Helper is responsible for assisting the Head Baker with all baked goods at site.

Where We Work and Live:
The Jansen Discovery Lodge is a workforce housing facility in support of the Jansen potash mine. The camp is located 155 kilometers east of Saskatoon, SK.

Our positions work on a 14 day on, 7 days off rotation, with 10 hour shifts. Accommodations and meals during your work rotations are provided by the company.

Wage: $26 / hour

Responsibilities:
Meet daily with the Head Baker to discuss menu preparation and production strategy.

Ensure all goods are prepared to the highest standards possible, while assisting in the maintaining of cost.

Prepares all Baked Goods for the menu and catered events.

Ensure the correct amount of products is prepared to control waste.

Lead by example with our Safety beliefs.

Excellent customer service skills.

Actively involved in ensuring they are following safe and sound procedures and are adhering to government regulations as well as Health and Safety Policies and procedures

Various other duties as assigned by Managers.

Qualifications:
Must have Food Safe Certificate

5 years' experience in a baking environment is considered as asset

Excellent people skills and teamwork skills

Able to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Works well under pressure
