Job Summary: To relieve out operators, ingredient handlers, prepweighers and/or any other position on the line to ensure it runs at the most cost effective, efficient manner possible.

I.

Safety:

1. Understand the safety risks associated with job.

Environmental:

1. Understand the aspects of the job that impact the environment.


2. Comply with all environmental rules, procedures, and work practices.


3. Report all environmental incidents.

III.

Quality:

1. Follow recipes and deviations at all times. Unauthorized deviations are strictly forbidden.


2. Comply with all USDA rules, procedures and work practices.


3. Follow all Nestle and GMP procedures.


4. Maintain confidential information on recipes.


5. Report all deviations from the recipe.



IV.

Operations:

RELIEVE OUT RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Understand the importance and duties of relieve out team member.


2. Is on time to relieve out for breaks and lunches for assigned positions on designated line.


3. Per direction from the Line Operator, Technical Operator and/or Supervisor understand and execute the order and required positions for relieve out


4. Track and document breaks and lunches for each position that is being relieved out.


5. Take ownership of the job when relieving out and any issue that may arise.


6. Stay on assigned line unless otherwise directed by production supervisor.


7. Other duties as assigned.



OPERATION


1. Able to perform all or some of the duties for the following positions as designated by the line supervisor (if present on assigned line). Please see appropriate Job Descriptions:
  • Checkweigh, Kliklok, or Checkweigh Labeler Operator
  • Heatseal Operator
  • Netweigh Filler or Triangle Operator
  • Freezer infeed and Discharge (Amerio, Spiral, or Carton)
  • Caser
  • Ingredient Handler
  • Traydropper
  • Tisma Operator
  • Line Operator
  • Prepweigher
  • Any other pieces of equipment or tasks as assigned

2. Maintain housekeeping as needed from prep areas through caser


3. Complete training for and understand the importance of using SAP.


4. Complete all Quality and/or Process checks as required


5. Complete all TPM activities as necessary



V.

Communication

1. Communicate completely in a professional manner with all production associates and support groups. Maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and support groups at all times


2. Communicate all problems and pertinent information to the proper support group and/or production supervisor.


3. Communicate any disruptions to relieve out schedule to the production supervisor.
