Coordinator Payroll

Summary: Assists the payroll manager with supervising and maintaining the payroll operation.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assists in the resolution of various team member payroll problems, concerns, and questions, either over the telephone or at the payroll office window
• Ensures all team member wage garnishments are properly processed and filed.
• Assists in ensuring all departments have completed and processed payroll in a timely manner.
• Process employment verifications.
• Process weekly payroll as needed.
• Process off cycle payrolls as needed.
• Ensures accurate, neat, organized, and up-to-date filing of all payroll reports and records.
• Acts as back up for the Payroll Manager for the overall payroll operation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in math
• Knowledge of excel.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Regularly required to see, hear, talk, sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor under working conditions that are fast paced at times.
