Summary:
The Data Analyst will provide both broad and detailed analysis and technical support for the PMDS organization in relation to the AeGIS business application and implementation of the new Automated Utility Design (AUD) solution. This position will be responsible for business analysis, problem-solving, and delivery of technical training for the PMDS Organization. The incumbent will serve as a functional SME for AeGIS and AUD, able to conduct in-depth root cause analysis to problem scenarios and identify defects and opportunities for improvements. The incumbent will also be responsible for cleaning, analyzing, interpreting, and displaying data for various ad hoc PMDS reporting needs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities Directly or through others, the incumbent:

Work indirectly through senior team members, program managers, Information Technology, and other organizational teams to develop processes and for operational improvements
Design and manage dashboards to monitor and analyze PMDS AeGIS and AUD user performance and system processes associated with design
Design processes to enhance current Distribution PMDS reports and share point applications
Track and provide technical support in the root cause analysis of AeGIS related items such as unpowered features, and Dials support tickets
Design reports to analyze relationships between data in various Distribution systems such as Work Management Information, Outage Management, and Financial Information Management, AeGIS, AUD & WaAM.
Coordinate with various work groups to investigate variances and data discrepancies related to AeGIS and AUD
Promote best practices by continuously evaluating methods, techniques and software used to fulfill project tracking needs within PMDS and make recommendations for improvement
Respond to internal and external requests regarding database development and support
Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential while ensuring compliance with Oncor Electric Delivery safety standards
Occasionally work after normal working hours to support system operations
Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements
Graphical correction SME, perform graphical corrections in AeGIS as needed
Create ad hoc reports for various PMDS Organizational needs by using statistical analysis tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns or trends in complex data sets

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

Data Analyst: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; College degree in a related field preferred; Four years of experience in data analytics, Aegis, project tracking, or related field preferred
Data Analyst Senior: Bachelors degree in an analytical or electrical discipline is preferred, 6 years of data analytics, Aegis, project tracking, or related field preferred
Advanced analytic/computer skills preferred
Advanced knowledge and experience with the following AeGIS, WaAM, DIS, WMIS, and OMS, is preferred
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, with focus in EXCEL
Database analysis and experience with SQL preferred
Experience with data visualization and dashboard creation tools such as Tableau preferred
Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated organization skills
