We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with expertise in Tableau to join our team. The ideal candidate will transform complex datasets into clear, compelling visualizations and actionable insights. This role is crucial in empowering teams with the data they need to make informed decisions.

This role reports to the VP of Marketplace Revenue Operations.

What you will be doing:

  • Working directly with Marketplace business leaders and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
  • Handling ad hoc reporting and analytics requests, while addressing stakeholder long-term goals and ensuring we’re solving the right problems
  • Creating best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
  • Synthesize large volumes of data from various sources to develop targeted insights using repeatable and scalable techniques
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Researching, designing, implementing, and deploying full-stack scalable data analytics solutions to address various business issues.
  • Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for datasets
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics and trends.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all reporting activities.
  • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
  • Document processes, methodologies, and best practices for data analysis and reporting.

What you should have:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in business operations, product, customer analytics, or any other related field.
  • Expert understanding of Tableau with 3+ years of direct experience.
  • Expert understanding of SQL and core statistical concepts.
  • On-the-job experience working in data science capacity within a fast-paced and complex business setting.
  • Proven ability to convert data to insight and communicate why it matters, both verbally and in writing.
  • Understanding of data modeling with direct experience designing models that address analytics use cases.

  • Demonstrated ability to build automated, scalable, and repeatable solutions that enable a broad range of business users to derive value from analytical development.
  • Extensive experience working on strategy or full-life cycle data science with tech/programming tools and languages such as Tableau, Python, Redshift.
  • Real world experience modeling and combining complex data from disparate sources.
  • Capable of tailoring complex messages into simplified and business applicable material for key stakeholders and senior data science management.
