Instructional Designer

We are actively seeking a dedicated and innovative Instructional Designer, focusing on creating impactful eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to excellence in educational design and might also share membership with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Join our team to contribute to both local and international projects through the translation of courses into various languages.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design Leadership

Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify key information and customs that align with course objectives.

Design innovative, scenario-based eLearning materials that captivate learners.

Utilize diverse educational tools to exceed standard eLearning templates, ensuring content is adaptable for translation into multiple languages.

Course Development Expertise

Develop engaging courses with a primary focus on Articulate Storyline, also incorporating other tools like Articulate Rise, where necessary.

Employ advanced development techniques using layers, states, and variables to create rich, interactive experiences.

Create supplementary educational materials such as job aids and quick-reference guides to enhance learning retention.

Collaborative Communication

Engage with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.

Maintain high quality and adherence to project timelines through proactive communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with instructional design and eLearning development.
• Strong expertise in Articulate Storyline
• Ability to create complex, custom interactions using advanced features in Storyline.
• Proficient in graphic design and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with the values and teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is highly preferred.

Additional Information

• Location: USA Remote
• Employment Type: 1099 Contract, 6 months
• Work Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week
• Start Date: Early March, 2025
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate from $50 to $65, based on expertise and experience
