Inventory Control Clerk

- Runner for both Flooring Plant and MDF Storerooms
- Pick up items from shipping. Help with unboxing and checking items.
- Ability to assist with weekly cycle counts with and/or without handheld scanners.
- Ability to assist with full inventory with and/or without handheld scanners.
- Ability to pick parts by description or part number.
- Ability to manage the parts counter while multitasking other tasks.
- Make runs to pick up items off site when necessary.
- Able to present numerical data in an effective manner.
- Able to articulate issues and opportunities in an effective manner
- Previous exposure to heavy forklift handling (Larger than 5-ton lift)
- 1 Year experience operating fork trucks or equivalent skillset
- Previous use of warehouse management systems or receiving / loading preferred
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- Practical experience and knowledge of SAP & MP2 software systems preferred.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite specific to Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Able to understand warehouse management system and operate according to guidelines
- Always operate in safe manner
- Must possess the ability to work well with little or no supervision and with a collaborative team.

- Work location is Barnwell.
- The Manufacturing environment is not air conditioned or climate controlled.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk and talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, combustible dust fumes or airborne particles, traffic, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but occasionally high in specific areas.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- This is a full-time position, and general hours of work between 7:00 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Working time may vary. This position may regularly require extended hours, night shift and or weekend work as well

- External: Suppliers and freight providers
