Lakota Solutions, LLC is looking for someone to join them on a long-term effort as an Operations Manager supporting a program at Ft. Drum, New York.
The Operation Manager shall have the authority to resolve problems, allocate resources, manage personnel, and monitor operation performance adhering to the PWS and those general instructions on limitations deadlines presented by Government management to ensure complete satisfaction. The Operation Manager shall possess the basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the work and shall be qualified to be the Contractor’s on-site supervisor and POC for Government representatives. The Operation Manager’s experience shall demonstrate the skills and abilities to be able to provide overall supervision for Contractor employees to include, but not limited to, planning and managing the project professionally, ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources, ensuring accurate and timely reports are provided, providing effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of the labor-hour services ordered.
Required Skills:
- Candidate must have minimum active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.
Essential Functions
- Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing.
- Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and clients.
- Requires travel in the domestic USA (15%).
- Requires ability to interact professionally with workers, management, and client.
Physical Requirements
- Requires sitting for extended periods of time.
- Position requires walking through several large facilities.
Other Essential Functions
- The ability to work independently, make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgment is essential.
