The Propulsion Systems business of Collins Aerospace specializes in designing, manufacturing, and testing various energetic devices. Our products include system components that ensure the safe ejection of pilots from fighter jets and helicopters. Our team creates a diverse range of cartridge-actuated devices, propellant-actuated devices, and linear devices that support military and commercial applications with pride.

Compensation

• 22.00 per hour starting rate*
• Paid vacation & sick time
• Eligible for Annual Increases

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7 am-3:30 pm
• Overtime available and/or mandatory on a business need basis

What You Will Do

• Perform rework of nonconforming components
• Use basic hand, power, and pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipment
• Troubleshoot and solve basic production issues with Team Leader direction
• Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills when working towards a resolution
• Actively support compliance with EH&S policies and regulatory requirements
• Prepare work orders and data sheets for processing
• Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes included in aircraft component assembly
• Help with problem-solving by working with engineering, management, and other cell departments
• Perform basic math calculations
• Move between workstations as needed
• Read and understand manufacturing procedures and blueprints
• Follow written and verbal instruction
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) access.
• Typically requires an HS Diploma or GED. In the absence of an HS diploma or GED, two years of relevant experience is typically required.

• The salary range for this role is 22.00 to 29.50; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
