This position holds an important part in our Customer Experience and a key piece of our internal production. The inventory & receiving clerk will be working hand in hand with the manager. This individual will contribute in obtaining an organized department that can beat the client and production to the punch. Working quickly, effectively, and diligently is a major part of this role in leading the team in a positive direction.

Top Priorities

• Oversee and assist with incoming shipments according to shop layout and order urgency. Use tools like UPS Worldwide to get ahead of the incoming.
• Oversee and assist outgoing shipments’ accuracy for RA’s and outsourcing to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Determine space requirements and position of inventory/shipments according to shop layout and ease of access with manager.

Position Duties

• Backs up manager with team and workflow supervision.
• Engaged in verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing inventory/shipments.
• Oversee and assist with incoming shipments according to shop layout and order urgency.
• Use tools like UPS Worldwide to get ahead of the incoming.
• Oversee and assist outgoing shipments’ accuracy for RA’s and outsourcing to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Determine space requirements and position of inventory/shipments according to shop layout and ease of access with manager.
• Aid in directing movement of shipments and order pulling to ensure the best performance.
• Maintain structure for stock and inventory control.
• Assist in Managing records of unfulfilled orders, backstock, inventory, graveyard, returns, etc.
• May assist the team in receiving and GCI activities.
• Respond to client, internal, and vendor emails within a prompt and timely manner when applicable.
• Recommend, implement, and support continuous improvement within the department and the company to improve employee performance, quality control, productivity, attitude, and efficiency.
• Support a safe working environment with emphasis on good housekeeping techniques
• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all warehouse tools, machinery, and overall department cleanliness & organization.
• Maintain computerized inventory records using the shop management system.
• Take physical count periodically and check against inventory control total in the shop software.

Qualifications/Skills

• College degree preferred, but not necessary
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management internally and externally and occasionally with client
• MAC based company, any experience is a plus
• Must enjoy interacting with clients and uphold the CS experience with customer service
