The Senior Manager, Supplier Management will be a key leadership position within Source to Pay (STP) Magenta Shared Services reporting to the STP Value Stream Lead, and will initially assist in implementing new areas within the Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain (FP&SC) Magenta Services group to develop continuous process improvements, procedure documentation, and reports to achieve industry best practices, as well as contribute focused expertise to drives a culture of spending discipline for strategic suppliers/ categories via the employment of efficient, effective and best in class contract management, negotiation and supplier management practices.

This position will manage and may be responsible for:
  • Day-to-day operations of the Supplier Management team (including onshore and offshore staff) in coordination with Procurement.
  • Supplier relationships including all contractual SLAs with third-party service providers.
  • Executing and continuously improving the process within T-Mobile through partnering and leading third-party service providers.
  • Developing and maintaining ongoing supplier performance programs and documentation.
  • The workflow of the supplier management team to ensure effective support in following key areas: supplier performance management, relationship management and supplier risk management.
  • Provide a framework to manage and deploy suppliers and supplier relationships, manage the supplier relationship to deliver the best value to T-Mobile, develop and improve metrics to drive improved performance and productivity, and strengthen the overall business relationship.

This position manages and serves as a central point of contact for suppliers, and must interface ad effectively communicate with senior leadership both within T-Mobile and at suppliers. They is a source of best practices to be implemented within the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages and provides leadership, mentoring, coaching and career development planning for team members, and ensuring productivity is maximized and quality is delivered, how to improve their analyses and collaborative efforts and provides thought leadership on their work products.
  • Manages overall cost efficiency in repair operations.
  • Identifies and provides insight into the critical cost drivers and associated inter-dependencies for the effective operation of a business unit.
  • Oversees creation of management reporting for original equipment manufacturers’ performance.
  • Develops, maintains and continuously improves vendor scorecards ensuring SLA achievement.
  • Escalation of performance deficiencies.
  • Provides data and presentation support to leadership.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 4-7 years Experience managing direct reports.
  • 2-4 years Experience managing third party partners/vendors.
