This position will be responsible for overseeing domestic and international shipping of all materials, sub-assemblies, finished products, maintenance parts and general supplies. This position acts independently and provides room for personal and professional growth.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate the shipping of external Order-fulfillment via Reservations, Purchase Orders, and Sales Documents in SAP.
- Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Prepare all necessary documentation, labeling, packaging requirements and communicate pre-shipment and post-shipment details.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve turnback’s to the process.
- Audit freight invoices to ensure proper billing. Orders export related shipping supplies in a timely manner to prevent production delays or material shortages.
- Maintain general housekeeping and inventory management.
- Conduct shipments per DOT, IATA, OSHA, ICS and SOP requirements and ensures accuracy of orders.
- Act as a backup for all areas of the warehouse operations including shipping, receiving and customer interactions when needed.
- Support department in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support other activities as needed.
- The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday from 7AM-3:30PM. There are no additional travel requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiarity with Inco Terms and international and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft office tools, and SAP.
- Experience working with outside vendors and scheduling pickups and appropriate freight lanes to ensure product arrives within validated shipping timeline.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
