The Student Engagement department resides within the Student Success Center organization. Specialists conduct outreach to prospective students, answering questions about their educational journey in support of students’ educational goals.
Job Summary
The Associate Student Engagement Specialist is an entry-level role that represents university partners and shares information about online degrees to potential students via phone, email, and SMS. Associate Specialists coordinate activities across multiple areas within Student Engagement, ensuring operational efficiency. This role proactively engages prospective students in a goal oriented, metrics driven environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Student Outreach:
- Actively engage with prospective students, supporting them in exploring their educational goals while applying acquired knowledge and ongoing training in a results-driven environment.
- Contact prospective students via phone, email, and SMS within established timelines while following compliance and quality guidelines to support in the enrollment process.
- Use approved resources to quickly and effectively resolve student concerns.
- Deliver personalized support to prospective students, encouraging them to pursue their educational goals while aligning with company goals.
- Deliver supportive customer service with a sincere commitment to exceed customer expectations.
- Able to use various technology platforms to manage student and partner relationships.
- Professionally communicates with teammates and stakeholders as needed.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with all required training and regulatory guidelines.
Additional Position Responsibilities
- Perform in accordance with Risepoint Policies and Values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or Commensurate Experience
May have parallel work experience (in sales, customer service, teaching, healthcare, recruiting) for 0-2 years. Higher Ed experience not required.
