IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome a Warehouse Assistant to join our hard-working fulfilment team.

Join our night owl crew at IKEA! Help us keep the shelves stocked and ready for our amazing customers. Your mission is to unload deliveries, organize stock, and keep the warehouse in tip-top shape—all while the world sleeps.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Start Date of employment will be: 5th October 2024
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour. There will be an additional £2.25ph nightshift allowance for hours worked between 10pm and 6am.
• 30 hours per week, working 5 x 6hrs shifts from 10pm till 4am this includes both weekend days. You will receive every 4th weekend off.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to priorities and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
• Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18.
  

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving goods with accuracy.
• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
