Salary Details: Grade 6, FTE £26,609 - £28,770 (actual salary £22,873 - £24,731)
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week. Worked 8am to 4pm (3.30pm on a Friday) term time only. This includes an unpaid 30 minute break.
Vermont is a small special school in Southampton for children aged 5-11 who experience social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. All of our young children experience challenging behaviour and may also have many associated conditions and disabilities such as ADHD, Autistic Spectrum disorders and attachment disorders. Every child has an Education, Health Care Plan.
A very exciting opportunity has now arisen to join our admin and finance team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, resourceful, conscientious and pro-active Administrative Assistant who has previous experience of working in a fast paced office environment were no two days are ever the same. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking at moving into school administration as a career, this role will cover a whole range of tasks that can be built on over time. You will need to be able to communicate effectively, have a 'team spirited' attitude towards work and be confident, flexible and organised when dealing with a wide range of tasks.
