School Administrative Assistant at St Edwards Roman Catholic Primary School
Salary- Grade C, SCP 3-5 FTE £22,737- £23,500, (Pro-rata £17,178.34- £17,754.80)
Hours- TTO, 32.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday 8:30am -3:30pm
Closing Date: Friday 12th July 2024 12.00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination of school events and activities.
Working in a busy school office, acting as first point of contact for enquiries, welcoming visitors to school and communicating effectively with staff, students and parents.
General administration support to the rest of the school.
School record-keeping and working on school systems to log information.
Handling phone calls, emails and letters, this may include filing, photocopying and other clerical tasks.
Distribution of letters and school information (good ability to write clearly and effectively is important).
Distribution of communication such as websites and newsletters.
First aid support to staff and students.
Working in a professional environment.

Previous experience in administrative roles preferred.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Good teamwork.
