DUTIES
Under the direction of the Dean of Arts, Business and Science, the Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative duties.
The incumbent will work with all divisions and departments within the university college and with external agencies, including other post-
secondary institutions and Indigenous organizations to ensue effective implementation and processing of all academic and related issues.
The incumbent will assist with: organizing and scheduling meetings; producing and distributing correspondence; making travel
arrangements; assisting in the preparation of reports and projects, including budgets; and duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and
data entry as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 
Completion of an Office Administration Certificate; an equivalent combination of education and administration experience may be

considered 
Minimum of two years administrative/office experience 
Excellent scheduling and budgeting skills 
Effective, culturally relevant interpersonal and communication skills 
Effective critical thinking skills 
Effective organizational skills 
Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex office environment 
Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
Proficiency in using MS Office 
Commitment to life-long learning

ASSETS 
Ability to use Zoom, Teams, or other virtual communication tools 
Knowledge of post-secondary institutions and structures 
Experience and/or knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures 
Ability to speak an Indigenous language
