OnsiteWe are in search of a committed and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to become a valuable member of our team. The preferred candidate will take on the responsibility of delivering thorough administrative support, ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of our office. This position demands exceptional organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs a combination of administrative tasks in various functional areas located throughout RTX.
- Represents organizational unit on administrative matters. May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required.
- May perform data entry and other normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files, interviewing callers and making proper referrals, arranging meetings and conferences and receiving, referring or answering mail. Reviews drafts and finished documents and answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
- Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisors assignment.
- May provide executive assistant services as a direct assistant to senior leaders. This includes working independently on special assignments, managing the Executives schedule, processing and handling of confidential documents and other administrative duties.
- May research and determine types of technical literature searches and sources of information required to satisfy the scientific information needs of researchers and staff within RTX.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
- Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to swiftly adjust priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior administrative assistnace experience is preferred.
