We are seeking a temporary Administrative Representative to join our Transmission Ops & Maintenance South Department in
Selkirk, Manitoba for approximately 12 to 18 months.
Responsibilities:
- Will perform all duties associated with the Time Administrator function including Interpretation and application of the IBEW
- Interpret Union Agreements, Corporate Directives, and answer inquiries on matters relative to policies in a prompt, courteous,
- Participate actively and positively in the development and the achievement of Transmission Stations Operations &
- Establish and maintain an effective line of communication and act as liaison for line management, employees, and other
- Will perform all functions associated with Expense Administrator including running reports.
- Responsible for extracting report data from SAP relative to budgets and the monitoring of same.
- Will prepare service entries, create purchase requisitions and other transactions related to contracted services using SAP as
- Responsible for equipment record updates, inventory reports, and work due reports using the RMS system.
- Responsible for VISA reconciliation, assisting with other staff VISA reconciliation and preparing journal corrections as
- Prepare monthly Safety Statistical Report including the compilation of data regarding man hours worked, kilometers driven,
public incidents, tailboards, and worksite visits in association with the Regular Monthly Report.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent and a minimum of two years related experience.
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent plus completion of commercial vocational special courses and a minimum of one
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel. HRMS and SAP experience would be a definite asset.
- Familiar with Corporate Policies and Union Agreements and proficient at interpretation of same.
- Must display positive customer service behaviors when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Require an aptitude for accounting, budget preparation, and familiar with associated reports,
- Able to plan and organize work schedules and priorities and complete moderately complex administrative assignments.
- Familiar with and able to operate equipment including personal computers, copiers, plotters, scanners, printers, fax machines,
- Ability to perform with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external personnel both verbally and by correspondence.

Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $26.01-$34.06 Hourly,
$49,837.58-$65,262.08 Annually.
