OnsiteThis position will coordinate and manage multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) programs (commercial and/or government) to ensure a flawless launch through development to entry into service.

As a member of the Supply Chain New Product Introduction team, you will lead a robust sourcing strategy to ensure all commercial, government and space customer requirements are met. You will be impacting new aerospace developments from development through entry into service. You will directly interface with the supply base, Supply Chain Commodity Managers, Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, Engineering, Contracts/Legal, and the Value Stream Leaders. This position is the owner of all supply chain/procurement responsibilities during the development program.
What You Will Do:
- Value Stream supply chain focal.
- Manage Supply Chain NPI responsibilities from target capture through entry into service.
- Submit RFP’s, procure products from approved sources, PO management, and ensure on-time deliveries to support NPI customer schedules.
- Negotiate price, lead-time, and mitigations to support development schedules.
- Lead the NPI sourcing selection.
- Manage and track bill of materials to achieve cost and schedule targets.
- Responsible for the supplier relationship.
- Review and submit design drawing packages to suppliers.
- Initiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Statement of Work (SOW) to potential suppliers.
- Engage early supplier involvement with design teams.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations or related field from an accredited institution
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Prefer certification or in process of attaining C.P.M. (ISM) or CPIM (APICS) or Project Management Professional (PMI).
- Experience working in a cross-functional team, such as including members from operations/production, technical/engineering groups, finance departments, etc.
- Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
- Project coordination / management experience
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management/Procurement practices.
- Self-directed professional able to work without direct guidance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
