Main Purpose and Objectives:
- Receive and discard lab samples.
- Act as document controller; evaluating and submitting to the GMP Library all the lab GMP documents as per applicable procedures.
- Maintain lab supplies organized and inventories within safety levels.
- Verify routinely the expiration date of reagents/solutions in the lab and discard when expired.
- Support with purchasing process of lab materials/supplies/equipment.
- Support with waste container readiness (labeling, bags) and coordination with warehouse for waste containers/drums supply.
- Receive and allocate all purchases received in the lab.
- Maintain service providers contracts and contractor safety documents updated for all lab suppliers.
- Support all lab inspections (self-inspections from Quality & EHS and from internal/external agencies).
- Receive and help in the on-boarding of new lab members and any lab visit, as required.
- Help support any implementation initiative from the lab and/or site.
- Support with the work order generation.
- Support with redaction of documents, as required (e.g., minutes, presentations, protocols).
- Help with coordination of lab activities (e.g., invitations, room reservations).
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Science or related area.
- Two (2) years of experience in similar tasks and/or related area (experience in laboratory and/or GMP area preferred).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point).

- Strong customer service skills and teamwork oriented
- Sound judgment and compliance mindset
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels and functions in the organization.
- Availability to support a 7/24 operation, if required
- Ability to take initiative, to be assertive, to lead by example and to build high-quality relationships.

- This is a contract-based position.
- No license required for this job.
