Associate Systems Engineer

In this role you will partner with IT team members to provide administrative and project coordination support and at times meet with the client community in partnership with a more experienced systems engineer to assist with the delivery and implementation of underlying technology solutions in support of business objectives to improve productivity and enhance processes. Responsibilities will primarily be baseline operational support, administrative and maintenance duties, and may include participation in technology projects.

This role is based in our Ridgefield, CT office with flexible on site work 2-3 days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities
Assisting in the design and development of infrastructure solutions and system software. Under the direct supervision of a Sr Systems Engineer.
Analysis: Under the direct supervision of a senior team member will meet with IT colleagues to understand requirements for implementing possible solutions or improvements.
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
Client Support: Under the direct supervision of a senior team member will:
A) Perform baseline system support, administrative and maintenance duties for assigned systems.
B) Troubleshoot application and system problems and take corrective actions.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
Project/Solution Activities: Support goals under the direction of a senior team member by participating on project teams. Deliver on assigned tasks and action items.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Eligibility Requirements :
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
