Aviation Investment Analysis Trainee

Ferrovial Airports is one of the world’s leading private airport investors and operators. Ferrovial is listed simultaneously on 3 stock markets: USA (Nasdaq), the Netherlands (Euronext Amsterdam), and Spain (IBEX 35).

The Airports business unit currently operates a portfolio of four airports in the United Kingdom: Heathrow, with a 25% stake, and a 50% stake in AGS Airports, which owns Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Southampton airports. Ferrovial Airports also holds a 49% stake in the consortium appointed to design, construct, and operate the New Terminal One at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport in the United States and a 60% stake in Dalaman International Airport concession in Turkey.

Through its Ferrovial Vertiports division, Ferrovial Airports is developing a network of agnostic vertiports in Europe and the United States. Vertiports are the essential infrastructure for the safe take-off, landing, and recharging of electrical vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aviation Investment Analyst Trainee to join our team. This candidate will join Ferrovial Airports U.S. Corporate Development team – a dynamic, diverse, and high-powered team focused on transforming modern airport infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a professional with 0–3 years of experience who is eager to develop expertise in airport investment and contribute to meaningful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and data analysis to support airport investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models and investment presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members on various aspects of project evaluation, due diligence, and implementation.
• Stay informed about trends and developments in the aviation and airport sectors.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and a collaborative working environment.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, aviation, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–3 years of professional experience (internships and co-op programs are also considered).
• Skills:
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with working proficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with native or near-native English proficiency.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and an eagerness to learn.

  • Willingness to take on diverse tasks and learn through hands-on experience.
