Bank Catering Assistant - Band 2

We have a vacancy in the catering department for Catering Assistant with flexibility to work in all areas of catering.

We are looking for a motivated individual with initiative to assist in a very busy areas, with good communications skills and be able to follow written and verbal instructions and follow strict hygiene regulations. Ideally the candidate will have previous experience and basic hygiene knowledge and be willing to undertake Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Training. The successful candidate will have high personal standards, be able to complete simple records, be able to operate machinery after training, and be capable of working without direct supervision.

Duties to include preparation of salads and sandwiches, reheating of food and some very basic cooking duties. General cleaning duties and working on industrial washing up machines as required, You will be required to give and listen to verbal instructions to aid with the supply of the patient meal service.
