We are looking for a talented Business Controller to support our Americas Supply Chain operations across North and Latin America.

Role Overview: As a Business Controller, you will execute, monitor, and evaluate day-to-day cost accounting, operational reporting, and business controlling support activities. You will interact directly with Supply Chain functional managers to assist them in understanding, analyzing, and improving the financial performance of factory, warehouse, and supporting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain functional managers to enhance financial performance.
  • Establish and maintain accurate product costing in SAP, ensuring verification of master data and calculation methods.
  • Calculate, investigate, and follow up on production, operational, and purchasing variances.
  • Provide technical administration and practical support for physical inventory cycles and annual counts.
  • Conduct data/database analysis with a focus on Supply Chain topics.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to Supply Chain (manufacturing, warehouse, freight, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls.
  • Support internal and external auditor requests related to Supply Chain.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Travel as required, primarily within the USA, with occasional international trips.

Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (SAP S4/HANNA preferred).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience in physical inventory and cycle count design and administration.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to organize and analyze large data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and participate in multidisciplinary projects, driving solutions and continuous improvements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience & Background:
  • Minimum of 3 years of finance and accounting experience.
  • Proven experience in cost and manufacturing accounting.
  • Strong financial reporting and analysis skills, with experience in stakeholder communication.
  • Practical knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in multinational organizations and multi-currency environments is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Comfortable working primarily in an office setting.
