Founded in 1978, Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. (Formosa Plastics) is a growing, vertically-integrated supplier of plastic resins and petrochemicals. Formosa Plastics is a privately held company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.

POSITION OBJECTIVE
- Collect and analyze data regarding raw materials, supply and demand,
- Research data pertinent to the market in terms of macroeconomic factors to
- Participate in creating detailed marketing and sales plans in cooperation with the
- Identify opportunities for improvement in product marketing on a constant basis.
- Create in-depth reports on individual market segments that include the analysis of
- Compare market data from various sources: government, association and
- Produce quarterly market overviews that comprise of macroeconomic forecasts,
- Research the PVC market to determine market potential and its impact of demand
- Devise methods and procedures for obtaining, maintaining and updating market
- Assist management in forecasting the short and long term PVC market by compiling
- Related Functions:
- Manages projects as assigned.
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience performing business opportunity or strategic
- Must demonstrate strong analytical skills such as the ability to research,
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, written and oral.
- 4 year degree in a Business-related major is required.
- Must have reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular
- Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and customer service; behave professionally; treat others with respect and dignity.
- Physical requirements include duties common to a regular office environment.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Travel required: approximately 10% to customers or plant locations domestically.
