Actalent is Seeking a CAD Designer
Description:
Modeling the metal structures using field dimension or scale data to fit architecture projects
Support the product engineering teams on drafting and detailing work
Attend project planning meetings with engineering teams
Produce three-dimensional models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
Programming on CNC machines
Will stay on one project start to finish
Working through multiple projects using both 2D CAD layout and 3D modeling
Skills:
Autocad, blueprint reading
Blueprint reading
Design experience, preferrably Autocad (2D or 3D)
Rhino Design Software Experience Preferred
6+ months CAD drafting/modeling experience in a comparable software (Inventor, Revit, Autodesk, Creo, Solidworks),
Blend of 2D and 3D design experience preferred, but would entertain the 3D side more.
Degree not required, but mechanical engineering background or degree would be a plus
