Do you want a flexible work schedule that fits with the other priorities in your life? Nurse Next Door is looking for Caregivers who are able to work 10 to 40 hours per week (no experience required)! We have flexible hours in the morning, afternoon, evenings, weekends, and overnights.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create Happier Aging experiences and client focused care in home and community settings
  • Deliver on our Brand Promise by owning the client’s experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families
  • Provide a premium care approach to clients and their family members while assisting clients with activities of daily living: healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc.
  • Review the care plan prior to beginning a visit, completing records accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested
  • Engage in open communication with the Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client’s experience and care are identified
  • Respond to Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline
  • Update availability and time off requests (as per stated expectations) with HR/CD to ensure continuity of care for your client
  • Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description

Requirements:

  • 1 year previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
  • Proof of CNA Certification, if applicable
  • Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Must be able to speak and write in English
  • Must be able to legally work in US to apply for this position
