Chief Accountant

Chief Accountant with 7 to 10 years of experience with strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices and possess advanced proficiency in SAP ERP systems. He will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with company objectives.

Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

Monitor key financial metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.

Supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Implement cash management strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risk.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and externalstakeholders.

Collaborate with IT and ERP specialists to ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and user training.

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and compliance reviews.

Monitor banking activities and maintain relationships with financial institutions.

Oversee the implementation, customization, and maintenance of SAP ERP modules related to finance and accounting.

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Job Requirements

Member of professional body of accountants [ICMA, ICAP, ACCA or equivalent] or Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Proven experience as a senior financial leader, preferably in the Service industry.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Strong proficiency in SAP ERP systems, with hands-on experience in implementation and maintenance.
