Cleaner

Gannawarra Shire Council is seeking dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Internal Cleaning Department as casual cleaning staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of Council facilities while working in a supportive team environment.

Position Details:

• Work Type: Casual
• Hours: Weekdays between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM (allocated through a works roster).
• Purpose: The position involves backfilling for staff leave and sick leave entitlements, ensuring seamless cleaning operations across Council facilities.

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have the ability to work flexible hours based on roster requirements.
• Possess strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services.
• Are team players with effective communication skills.
• Can work independently and demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
• Have prior cleaning experience (preferred but not essential; training can be provided).
