Job Summary

Salary Range and Hours: Band A £21,100 - £21,960, 15 hours per week

We are currently participating in our national pay negotiations with the trade unions (UNISON). As an organisation we are also committed to being a Real Living Wage employer, meaning all of our staff are paid a minimum of £12 per hour which equates to £23,151 per annum and this forms part of these negotiations. Our advertised salary bands will be updated when formal negotiations are completed.

Role Snapshot… We are looking for reliable people to join our cleaning teams working at our our Leisure Centre at Long Stratton.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Empty litter and recycling bins
  • Vacuum clean/sweep/mop all floor areas as appropriate.
  • Dust and polish all furnishings in designated areas.
  • Clean toilets and washbasins and replenish consumables as required.
  • Clean windows in accordance with the predetermined programme
  • Assisting with cleanliness of Fitness Suites/studios
  • Cleaning/Dusting soft play (site dependant)

You must have…

  • An understanding of the rudiments of office cleaning/Centre cleaning
  • High standards of cleanliness with a thorough approach e.g. COSHH and manual handling
  • The ability to prioritise and organise daily duties.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, when interacting with colleagues and members of the public
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • The ability to work weekends and work flexible hours.
