The Team
The Corporate Wildfire Services team, which includes Records, Procurement, and Accounts Payable, is a dedicated and experienced group. As part of this team, you'll work closely with our experienced Records Clerk to maintain accurate and up-to-date records, support Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, and ensure compliance with policies. The Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for organizing and maintaining files, ensuring they are complete and correctly named, and retrieving information as needed. Your work will help ensure that records are kept accurately and in line with government policies. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain insight into government operations and collaborate with an experienced Records Clerk, making it a great entry point into the field.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Experience working in an office setting and customer service environment
- Valid Class 5 driver licence
Preference statement(s)
- Preference may be given to candidates with 1 or more years’ experience in records management
- Preference may be given to candidates with experience administering an electronic records management system
Provisos /Willingness statement(s)
- To be flexible regarding ongoing changes in responsibilities, assignments and corporate structures
- To keep current on emerging issues
- To take in-house training and certification as required
- To fly in aircraft (fixed wing and rotary) as required
- To work extended hours, including weekends, and be on standby with limited notice in accordance with the preparedness plan
- To travel and overnight in remote locations where accommodations may vary as required
- To participate in Incident Command Systems positions as assigned To work under adverse or stressful conditions, including smoke, extreme heat and mountainous terrain in remote and isolated conditions

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until March 28, 2025. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
Flexible work options may not be available during emergency operations response periods.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
