We have an exciting opportunity to join the Company Secretariat team as a Company Secretarial Assistant, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the governance framework of a FTSE100 company.
As our Company Secretariat Assistant, you’ll provide vital support across a wide range of company secretarial and governance activities. From coordinating Board and Committee meetings to supporting Non-Executive Directors and maintaining statutory records, your work will help ensure we meet our legal, regulatory, and best practice obligations.
You’ll report directly to the Senior Assistant Company Secretary and work closely with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Further responsibilities include:
Organise and coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, packs, and logistics.
- Support Non-Executive Directors with travel, accommodation, and expenses.
- Assist with governance documentation, statutory filings, and stock exchange announcements.
- Maintain accurate statutory records using our entity management software.
- Support onboarding and induction for new Board members.
- Collaborate with teams across the business including Legal, Finance, Risk, and Communications.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We’re seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual who brings:
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
- Prior experience in an administrative or office-based role (e.g. PA/EA, legal assistant, project coordinator).
- A genuine interest in governance and a desire to grow in a professional, high-performing team.
No prior company secretarial experience is required—we’ll provide the training and support you need to thrive.

Salary of £28,000 - £43,000
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays (and the ability to buy/ sell up to 5 days per year)
