This role is working 2 days per week – Monday & Tuesday 8-4pm, predominantly office based with occasional home working.

The role

In this administrative role you will support the Senior Management team by ensuring all evidential crime and incident related documents are filed and retrieved when required. You will be liaising with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure enquiries related to documentation and statistical information are responded to, whilst ensuring daily checks on force systems are completed. This is a great opportunity to be in a rewarding role where you are part of a team that protect the public and deliver outstanding service.

What you’ll do

  • Filing of crime documents in accordance with Management of Police Information guidelines.
  • Preparing and administration of archived documents to ensure GDPR principles are adhered to.
  • Management of multiple mailboxes to ensure allocation is efficient and accurate.
  • Daily quality checks to ensure personal information is correct.
  • Providing statistical information for various stakeholders.
  • Daily management of crime queues ensuring information is updated.
  • Allocation of forensic identifications to officers or specific teams.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong ability to organise tasks and re-prioritise when required.
  • Ability to problem solve using data.
  • Excellent team working skills but also the confidence to work independently.
  • Good verbal/written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft systems (such as excel, word, outlook)

This is a permanent role subject to a six-month probationary period
