The Role
Responsible for professionally executing Customer Service processes through strong customer relationships and efficient sales order management. This is a key role for our growing EMEA sales and distribution operation.
You will be responsible for:
- Customer focus, with the ability to predict customer needs and potential issues before they arise
- Works directly with third party logistics providers, including warehouse and transportation providers, to prepare and dispatch orders. Chooses appropriate transportation methods from pre-qualified vendors to achieve service and cost targets. Maintains strong working relationships with vendors and escalates, as necessary
- Clear and positive communication style, even during difficult situations. Uses own judgement in communicating internally and externally and deciding when to collaborate cross-functionally (e.g. with sales team)
- Uses ERP system (SAP) to execute sales order processes. Needs a good understanding of system functionality, including how data fields impact reporting, and trouble shooting
- Responds to customer product inquiries by researching internal database and getting input from Quality team
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- 3 years prior experience
- Experience in ERP systems
- Intermediate to good MS Office skills
- Native German speaker. Fluent written and spoken business English is necessary. Additional language skills would be an advantage
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to follow process, procedures and focus on details
- Pro-active, organized, committed, flexible and team player are key attributes
