About the role

Mercy Community are on the search for an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join our Residential Aged Care team in Nudgee on a Permanent Full-time basis.

Provide a full range of administrative, reception, and customer service duties in support of service delivery to Residents, managers, staff and visitors. This role is the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries (on site, telephone, email and postage). This role is required to provide back up support for the admissions and staffing services functions as directed. This role will be based at our Residential Aged Care Facility based in Nudgee – 4 single-level buildings, as a unified community. The successful applicant will be joining a well skilled, positive team ready to support the newest team member!

Salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available

This role includes but not limited to -

  • Reception Customer Service – reception duty, greeting residents and visitors, managing deliveries, respond to resident enquiries
  • Administration Support services – conduct site and administration induction for new staff members, maintain assigned registers and databases, attend meetings as required by the Senior Administrator or Care Leadership team, reconcile and distribute invoices, coordinate and distribute information and correspondence to staff and residents

About you

As the successful applicant, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in business administration or equivalent experience
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong skills in organisational and time management
  • Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver's License
