In this job you will:
Be responsible for data collection related activities involving Statistics Canada survey participants across Canada. Daily activities could involve, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
- Collecting, documenting, and organizing data
- Verifying and safeguarding data
- Communicating with respondents
Intent of the process
This inventory is for casual employment. Casual employment is temporary employment of 90 working days or less in a calendar year, to meet needs for temporary vacancies arising from vacation, sick leave, training, special projects, etc.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of secondary school according to provincial standards or approved alternatives. An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may be accepted.
An acceptable combination is defined as: Successful completion of 2 years of secondary school and a minimum of 2 years of working experience obtained through the private or public sector, community work, volunteer work, self-employment or other.
Degree equivalency
EXPERIENCE
Experience in dealing with the public, either by telephone or in person (e.g., call center, front line customer service responding to requests for information, helpdesk, technical support, etc.)
Experience in the utilization of various computer software packages and applications to perform daily tasks such as launching applications, performing research, opening/closing/locating/editing of documents and/or files, uploading information and running software programs. This may include specialized software & applications, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.), word processing and various research tools.

- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as required
- Reliable telephone service/cellphone coverage at your place of residence
