We are delighted to share that we are searching for a Day Operator to join our team at Glendullan Distillery in Dufftown!
Salary of £31,947.83 which includes a competitive benefits package including pension, shares scheme and bonus!
Glendullan was built in 1897, and forms part of The Singleton brand. Carrying out 21 mashes per week, producing over 5 million litres of new make spirit annually, which results in a beautiful green/grassy character. The day shift operator has a key role in ensuring that takers are despatched daily while following strict adherence to HMRC guidelines, and ensuring that compliance checks are carried out within clear timeframes. The Day Operator role at this great distillery is a phenomenal opportunity to be part of something wonderful!
About the role
As Day Operator at Glendullan you'll primarily based at Glendullan Distillery, however you may be required to work at other sites within the group to support with compliance at Auchroisk , Strathmill and Inchgower. A company Pool car will be provided for this so a clean driving licence is essential.
Main responsibilities include:

Ensuring site hygiene is maintained to a high standard

Compliance checks across your working area

Spirit tankers are loaded safely and efficiently

Supporting with various site daily tasks and working with the management team to improve the site
Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is supervised and improved alongside other Key Performance Indicator’s and targets.
Ultimately, being a source of advice, knowledge, and having the confidence to lead operations is the pinnacle of the day to day ways of working in this exciting role.
About You
