Description:

This company is looking for a drafter to join their team to develop standard product details and produce shop/installation drawings of Morin metal panels in commercial, industrial, and architectural applications.

• Develop drawings as defined in the scope of work provided by customer submitted drawings and specs.
• Interpret information from internal order acknowledgement (products sold) and customer supplied structural and/or architectural plans.
• Draw floor plan, elevations, and details per the companies drafting and product standards.
• Coordinate panel analysis with company engineering personnel.
• Conduct quality checks on peer drawings and bill of materials.
• Review and update drawings to customer redline corrections as needed.
• Produce bill of material (BOM) list in company format from final approved set of drawings.
• Provide take-offs on every project to verify material that will need to be ordered by customer service.
• Interface with required internal and external project stakeholders.
• Assist sales staff and customer service with current and future projects
• Assist architects and customers with new projects/project specific questions
• Create submittals for new projects
