Band 3 Senior Housekeeper

The Emergency Department and Emergency Assessment Unit at The John Radcliffe Hospital currently has a vacancy for a senior housekeeper.

The successful applicant will be proactive, used to working with the public in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful applicant will work with our well-established housekeeping team to ensure the efficient working of both departments. We are looking to recruit a motivated individual who can use their initiative and is able to work unsupervised.

We would ideally require working morning shifts on Thursdays and Fridays.

To work as an integral part of the Emergency Medicine team ensuring a high-quality service to patients and to provide a service that ensures that the patients’ needs are satisfied and requirements are met

To assist the Emergency Medicine team to ensure that the appropriate and effective delivery of facilities services in order to properly maintain the patient environment

To supervise an effective waste segregation and disposal service ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures and legislation
