Factory Cleaner

What you will enjoy doing

Purpose of job/mission:

To ensure factory and office areas are cleaned and maintained to food hygiene standards in accordance with Company cleaning procedures.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• To carry out the daily cleaning of the internal areas and support cleaning on the production and packaging area e.g. ensuring floor is kept clean and dust free, wiping top conveyors, cleaning external area of the machines
• Ensure that all chemicals and cleaning equipment are disposed of/cleaned in a manner that is safe to the work and external environment.
• Clean & Refill coffee and vending machines
• Control cleaning tools provided ensuring that they are in good condition and available on the cleaning boards
• To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may from time to time be reasonably required by supervision and which are consistent with the “Purpose of job/mission”.

Skills/Experience:

• Exposure to a manufacturing/fast paced production environment would be advantageous.
• Punctuality and reliability is key
• Able to maintain own schedule and work independently
• Experience/knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals advantageous

What you can expect working with us

Factory Cleaner – Monday to Friday (6am – 3pm – 40 hours per week)

£23,795 Per Annum + Benefits
