Band 6 SCP 23-25 £32,076.00 - £33,945.00
Employer: The Sovereign Trust - to work across all academies in the Trust
Location: Manor Academy, Manor Avenue, Sale M33 5JX
Working Pattern: 36.25 hours, all year round
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: 1st September 2024 or as soon as possible

An Opportunity has arisen for a Finance Controller to join our hard working, successful and forward-thinking central team based at our head office at Manor Academy, Sale.

This is a new role at The Trust and will be an exciting time to join the team in delivering central services to our academies. You will be fully involved with setting up of new processes and enabling efficiencies across the entire team of finance and administration staff. As the Trust continues to grow, our roles offer pathways for ambitious and dynamic individuals who are determined to make a difference. The main purpose of the role will be to:
To organise, maintain and monitor the School’s financial systems and to support the finance and admin teams.
To provide solid, reliable, compliant schools finance and resources structure.
To operate, maintain and develop the financial procedures and systems of the school alongside the Finance Manager.
