Finance Officer

FINANCE OFFICER (37 Hours)

Salary: £27,471 with potential for incremental progression to £31,775

We are looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our established Finance team.

In this role you will assist with the management of the Finance Department by providing support to the Finance Manager, in preparing management and year end accounts, preparing and keying journals, credit control, preparing and developing reports for budget holders, processing payments by BACS and collections by Direct Debit.

As Finance Officer, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support for the financial management of the College’s academic and commercial business, by processing all work in accordance with internal requirements and College procedures and regulations.

You should have recent and relevant experience of working in a similar role. Knowledge and previous use of finance systems including SAGE is considered advantageous.

You should be an effective communicator and team player, with a Level 2 AAT Qualification or higher or equivalent. You must also possess a minimum of Level 2 Qualifications in English & Mathematics.
