We are looking for a Plant Financial Analyst for the Principe Columbia site that:

JOB SUMMARY

Prepare detailed annual financial budget & monthly financial forecasts. Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly & quarter financial analysis schedules of actual v budget variances. Provide analysis support to various areas. Assist with completion of SOX compliance reporting. Exhibit technical and operations proficiency in primary duties. Acts a resource to managers and employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work to implement and apply cost accounting policies and procedures.

Support Plant Controller’s efforts for implementing and maintaining internal controls.

Analyze financial performance and create action plans for unfavorable gaps.

Prepare and process assigned daily/monthly journal entries.

Establish processes to reduce production costs.

Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators

Support the local plant budgeting process of the fixed and variable expenses.

Prepares, reports actual vs. budget results on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly presentations.

Maintains the packaging standards costing files and tracks daily performances of packaging to earned standards.

Assist with Submitting SOX compliance reports

Create Ad hoc reports to support management decisions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required

2-4 years of directly related experience required

Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details

Very strong in Excel and Power Point

Ability to communicate effectively with managers and employees

Organized and time management is essential

SAP experience is a +

Excellent problem-solving skills

Action oriented with ability to multi-task

Team player with a positive, can do attitude and agility to multiple work streams

While this position is primarily based in a corporate office setting, travel to the production facility will be required. While at the facility, employee will be subject to extreme temperatures, humid/wet environments and other hazards common to a food manufacturing facility
