What are you going to do?
As Financial Controller at Nedap, you are responsible for the planning and control cycle of one of our business units. In addition, you are in the lead for the process optimization of our financial processes Nedap-wide. You won't do this alone; together with your colleagues, you will ensure that the processes are mapped out and ultimately taken to a higher level. You will also make a crucial contribution to our various financial projects, such as BI Dashboarding; in doing so, you provide Nedap with valuable insights. Finally, you have an affinity with numbers, which enables you to ensure that our financial reports are accurate and complete.
Your responsibilities
- Ensuring the planning and control cycle of one of the business units;
- In the lead for the optimization of our (financial) processes;
- Contributing to financial projects both at Nedap-wide level and in the market groups;
- Being a sparring partner for Finance on complex accounting issues.
Your team
You will be part of the Financial Control Team. This team consists of Financial Controllers and Accounting Staff, with everyone having a focus on one of the business units. The Financial Control team is part of Nedap's Finance team. In addition to this team, Nedap also has a Concern Control Team and a Business Control team.

Required experience and skills
With your forward-thinking attitude, persuasiveness and attention to detail, you manage projects efficiently and complete them successfully. You have a strong awareness of your surroundings and navigate complex and dynamic work environments with ease. Your analytical ability enables you to thoroughly understand processes, identify connections and work towards continuous improvement. You prefer to work in a work environment where you have autonomy over your planning and task execution, and where you can take initiative to optimize processes.
In addition, we require the following
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Controlling or Accountancy;
- Knowledge and experience with IRFS;
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
- You preferably have experience in an international organization.
