IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome a 12-hour a week Food and Beverage Assistant to join our delightful and hardworking team.

This opportunity is to work in our Swedish Food Market/Bistro areas.

WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will be 25 and 26 January 2025.
• Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• 12-hour a week contract, and availability to work during the evenings (up until 21:00pm), as well as 3 in 4 weekends is required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
• Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• You will take payment at tills, serving customers in a friendly way, at our Swedish Food Market.
• You will ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
• You will be motivated to keep a clean, safe and pleasant area for our customers to eat, shop or socialise.
• You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
